The Primakov Center organized a workshop on the application of artificial intelligence in scientific research for participants of the VII Primakov Readings Youth Session who prepared the best analytical work on one of the forum sessions.
The session was conducted by Anna Abramova, Head of the AI Center at MGIMO, and Mikhail Zvyagintsev, Junior Research Fellow at the Center.
The experts elaborated on the use of AI in analytical work, emphasizing its capacity to process vast amounts of data. However, they cautioned that its utilization requires a critical approach: neural networks rely on information sources whose reliability is not always guaranteed. This creates risks of obtaining skewed results and necessitates increased vigilance in data verification.
During the discussion, the experts underscored the need to develop unified international standards for AI usage. In their view, such an approach would enhance the efficiency of scientific research and prevent potential ethical issues and misuse.
