The Primakov Center and the Council of Young Scholars at IMEMO announce the opening of applications for the Youth Session of the “Primakov Readings — 2026” — a key platform for young professionals and researchers in international relations, global economics, security, and political analysis.
This year’s theme: “Half-Life? Core Elements of a New World Order.”
Discussions will focus on four thematic tracks:
Young researchers aged 21–35 are invited to apply, including master’s students, PhD candidates, researchers from universities, think tanks, and NGOs, as well as independent experts working on issues of world politics, international security, economics, and global development.
To participate in the selection process, applicants must submit an application and provide an essay corresponding to one of the session’s thematic tracks. Submissions will be evaluated by an expert committee, and the authors of the best essays will be invited to participate in the Youth Session of the “Primakov Readings.”
