On May 22, a closed expert seminar “Iran-Israeli escalation in new regional dynamics” was held at the Primakov Center.
At the beginning of the discussion the following experts made presentations: Irina Zvyagelskaya, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Head of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at IMEMO; Vladimir Sazhin, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Senior Researcher at the Institute of Oriental Studies of RAS; Vasily Kuznetsov, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Doctor of Political Sciences, Deputy Director of IOS RAS; Alexey Davydov, Candidate of Political Sciences, Senior Researcher at IMEMO.
The meeting was moderated by Ruslan Mamedov, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Academic Advisor of the Primakov Center, and Senior Researcher at the Center for Arab and Islamic Studies of IOS RAS.
During the discussion, experts examined key aspects of the Iranian-Israeli confrontation in the context of changing regional dynamics, the role of extra-regional actors and Arab states.
