The second meeting of the Russian-Iranian working group was held in Moscow

On November 19, the second meeting of the Russian-Iranian working group on the topic "Russia and Iran: Bilateral Dialogue Amid Global Transformations" was held in person at the Primakov Center.

The discussion brought together experts from the MGIMO Institute for International Studies, the Center for Iran and Eurasia Studies (IRAS), the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and other leading analytical and academic centers in Russia and Iran. Participants reviewed a wide range of issues related to bilateral relations and exchanged views on key areas of cooperation, from humanitarian engagement to joint logistics projects.

The first meeting of the Russian-Iranian working group took place on July 29 and focused on regional security issues in the South Caucasus.
